By definition electroplating is "the process of covering a base metal with a thin film of precious metal by setting it in a chemical solution through which an electric current flows. Italian chemist, Luigi V. Brugnatelli invented electroplating in 1805. He performed electrodeposition of gold using the Voltaic Pile discovered by his college Allessandro Volta,
