Now here are some very good reasons to keep on inventing - did you know that from one third to one half of the average manufacturers' profits come from products that are less than five years old? Did you know that today one half of all new jobs created are connected to a new invention?
Independent inventor pat yourself on the back. According to SBA writer Gerald Udell, "recent studies show that, in spite of skyrocketing costs, increased risks and market complexity, independent inventors, technological entrepreneurs and small businesses still contribute somewhere between one half to two thirds of the major industrial innovations occurring in the United States. Other studies show that they do it much more efficiently than their corporate and institutional counterparts."
The morel of this story, keep on inventing, independent inventors are needed.

Thank you for the encouraging note. It sure isn’t an easy road take, to invent something and get it to market. More like a roller coaster ride. But it is a learning process also and it’s always good to learn.
