I'm in a silly mood folks. However, the candy confection called Cracker Jack has a serious history. Did you know that in 1912, toy surprises were first put into every Cracker Jack box? Or that the boy on the Cracker Jack box is called Sailor Jack and his dog is called Bingo?Talking about dogs and intellectual property - dog Nipper's mug was once printed on the label of nearly every record produced. Nipper was featured in "His Master's Voice" one of the best-known trademarks in the world, still in use today. Another famous trademark with paws is "Sparky the Fire Dog" a registered trademark (and spotted Dalmation) representing the National Fire Protection Association.
