Laws forbade the export of English textile machinery, drawings of the machinery, and written specifications of the machines that would allow them to be constructed in other countries. Even British textile workers were not allowed to work abroad. i am very interested on information about who invented the velour fabric, i hear that was jimmy blair barber sr. and he lost evrything even the invention right is that posible, that he invented and lost the right, and left his family on the street? how can i find out more about this?thanks

My fathers name was Jimmy Blair Barber Sr. and he had 3 textile mills. He used valour clothing, but did not invent it. He did not pay his taxes and we lost everything in 1972.
