The answer is that you my readers have helped me make the articles I have written on these subjects and others become more accurate and I thank you. Callie let me know about an early doughboy character drawn by artist Chet Noice. And thanks to Doug, Elizabeth & Chris and all the other Rubik's Cube fans who let me know that record number of moves for solving the puzzle is no longer 52. Dan's Cube Station is a great website for keeping up on current records.

Reader Questions
Leonna asked me, "how do you protect a website idea? Can you copyright it or do you have to get a patent on it ?" Leonna please read Do I Need a Patent, Trademark, or Copyright? I can't comment on your individual case, but the majority of websites are protected by copyright law and the names of websites by trademark law. Inventions are not names or ideas.

Entrepreneurs Guide Scott Allen's blog discusses this incredibly cool flying toy. Scott is also a great source of information and support for any inventor who is starting a business around their inventions and who needs to learn about becoming an entrepeneur.

Your comment re IP protection of websites is only partially correct and misleading. Web addresses are not automatically protecteed by trademark law, but may sometimes be registered as trademarks or service marks IF they meet USPTO criteria. some of the most desirable domain names used in URL’s are generic, e.g. “wine.com,” but generic or descriptive terms cannot be registered as trademarks. More info can be obtained from the USPTO website, http://www.uspto.gov
