The word 'leprechaun' is from a mixture of 'luchorpan' or 'small person' and a word meaning 'one-shoemaker'. Trademarks protect words, names, symbols, sounds, or colors that distinguish goods and services. The word 'leprechaun' has been used hundreds of times in different trademarks.
