Would a generator on a Dam be considered a perpetual motion machine?

He in fact may have invented it, but the puplic never saw it , like so many other inventions in the past and he never said it was a perpetual motion machine .

Tesla may have mistaken cosmic rays for photons, and invented a rudimentary type of photovoltaic solar cell. This isn’t that far-fetched if you know how a PV cell works.

Sirs; I am an old innovator with many innovations on the market today, “Given” to industry with no request of remuneration. I do have a plan for a machine that some would call a perpetual motion machine, if anyone is interested? Arthur Herbert Pruett.

I have a lot of ideas too for free energy as well. It only requires someone with the money to build it which I don’t have. The main reason why these inventions are not propounded is because of money. If there is no way to make money noone will invest money in them. Only when money becomes a thing of the past and people can live and work and contribute ideas without need of compensation will we see real progress. I as well as Arthur are reluctant to share ideas with someone who will only take it and make money for themselves.

Tesla had many resources to tap into. He realized that the earth and ionosphere were like a huge capacitor, and you could tune a circuit to draw power from it.

How can I publish here the plans for an engine?
I did developed thinking in a free energy device that run generators from watts to megawatts, I mean, you can build it with horse-powers enough as you need and 900 or 1800 rpm. With the plans I enclose formulas and I am able to send further explanatios to any one. I am not interested in to make profits with this.

So, I don’t get it. His invention was ‘lost to the public’ so where is it, who’s got it? That’s the question.

Nikola Tesla; Serbian-American citizen (1856 -1943) was an electrical engineer, physicist and inventor. He was born with extraordinary intellectual mind. Although, He was Serb descent he worked mostly in United States. He was the owner of more than 700 official patents.
Even though, many scientific institutes, universities, schools, societies and streets bear his name, the prime scientific states award in Croatia bears Tesla’s name. There are many Tesla statues and busts in all Balkan countries. Every child who lives in the Balkans knows about Tesla, it is not sufficient to pay his prize, why only the children of Balkans countries knows his name ?? as far as his findings and innovative works are a live or living testimony to declare his name from pole to pole (from east to west and from south to north) I am sorry!!, why world makes a border upon him through generation till now, still many of the world communities do not know his name and works Waw…!!!!!! ????????

Last time I checked, the USPTO will happily patent a perpetual motion machine–it’s one of the few that you MUST provide a working model with the application.

And I’m not sure that I’d go ruling the development out as impossible just yet–there’s an awful lot of the Universe we don’t understand, and whether or not something is perpetual depends upon it’s power intake and production in THIS universe.

It may be possible to draw poser from somewhere else….

If you get the definition strictly enough, you can probably say that it is impossible and be correct.

perpetual motion is in different forms,if you should build such a thing it must rely on using all the differnt motions and actions(energy) within itself to maintane the preformance of such a device,this is not hard it just takes lots of imagination and some money wouldn’t hurt. no computer is needed for this is not a computerized system

If anybody would like to know I can build a device that will almost run indefinitely on its own I just need the money to build. I can build a power plant that doesn’t burn oil and make pollution. I have been working on this power plant since 1998. I was a welder and plumber in the Navy, and working on those systems on a ship got my mind thinking that all that water pressure could be used to create power. Of course they have generators that run on steam and diesel generators that produce power. You see that is not all that feasible for peoples homes. well the diesel generators will work, just not the size generators that we had on board. I spent some time in the local 469 in Phoenix, Arizona and it just proved to me that it could be done. I see problem a with their being a centralized grid. I believe power should be owned by individual property owners like the parts of your a/c unit for the house and the pool having its pump and filters. the house seems incomplete without having it own power source. well you can contact me at sam.sanchez.jr@gmail.com. It would. It doesn’t claim to run without a source of external energy. The energy claimed to drive it exists and is readily available.

There is also the issue of “what the patent office is SUPPOSED to do, and what the patent office DOES.”

The clear intent of the patent law is to promote the transfer of new technology to society. To do that requires that a patent be clear and complete enough to permit another party to build the device from the patent.

This particular aspect of patents is probably the most routinely violated aspect of the entire system.
