Application to the DOST-PSHS NCE Now Open - Deadline July 29
The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in the Republic of Philippines is accepting entries for the Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits (RICE). There are six categories -- Invention (Tuklas Award), Utility Model, Industrial Design, Creative Research (Likha Award), Student Creative Research for high school and Student Creative Research for college.
Entry forms can be secured from the DOST regional office in sitio Sudlon, barangay Lahug, Cebu City or downloaded from website
Each regional qualifier will receive cash incentives and a certificate of recognition. The deadline of submission of entries will be on July 29. The regional invention contest as well as the exhibition of entries will be held in Ayala Center Cebu from Aug. 17 to Aug. 19. The winners in each category will represent the region in the National Invention Contest in July next year.
