F.A.Q.
I am doing my homework/research paper and I need to know who invented a certain invention, when it was invented, and everything about the inventor, and the paper is due tomorrow. Can you help me?
Go to "Inventions A to Z" or "Inventors A to Z" and you will find information on hundreds of different inventors and inventions. I will not be able to answer every question of this type individually and this is the fastest way to get your answers.
Can I reproduce or copy an article?
Not without permission, however, you can quote me if you cite me properly. You must request permission and wait to see if permission is granted before reprinting any major portion of an article.
How do I quote you in my paper?
It's important to cite and give credit to your research materials, even those online. To cite, it is sufficient to give my name and the address of the site in the text. For example, "According to Inventors at About (http://inventors.about.com)..."
Can I link to you?
Please do, we encourage linking to any part of our website.
How do I submit my patent to the Black Inventors' Database?
Please read the following How to Submit to the Database.
Do you fund inventions? Can you find me money? Do you want to buy my invention?
The answer to all of the above is no. Please read my article Turning an Invention Idea into Money.
