Actar 911, the CPR
mannequin was invented by Dianne Croteau and partners, Richard Brault and
Jonathan Vinden in 1989. Actar 911 is a mannequin used to teach CPR or Cardio
Pulmonary Resuscitation. CPR is used to save people suffering from cardiac
arrest.

Born in Sudbury,
Dianne Croteau graduated from the Industrial Design Department of Ottawa's
Carleton University. She and Richard started their company, Studio Innova in
1984.
