HYPERLINK HOLDUP
British Telecom (BT) have announced their intentions to enforce a patent that they hold. The company claims that their 1989 patent covers the concept of hyperlinking (i.e.linking ) and they have hired the law firm of Scipher to enforce their patent rights to that technology in the United States.

THE DRAGON JAR
John Milne was the English seismologist and geologist who invented the first modern seismograph and promoted the building of seismological stations. Milne invented the horizontal pendulum seismograph in 1880. But the first seismograph type invention we know about was the 132 AD, Dragon Jar.

Why the heck would anyone proceed trying to sell anything if there were a limited demand. It would be a complete waste of time and energy and result in failure anyway."
