Carmen Intengan:
Food and nutrition researcher, Carmen Intengan (aka Carmen Llamas Intengan and Carmen L. Intengan) was a pioneer that helped improve the Filipino diet. She has conducted research studies in food analysis, enzyme work, and glass paper chromatography techniques.

Carmen Intengan served as the director of the Food and Nutrition Research Institute in the Philiines from 1974 to 1980.{p]
Intengan has also been a lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine.
