Using Two Keywords

Quick Search Page Let's You Use More Than One Keyword

If you use two keywords you have to decide how you want the search engine to treat the two words.

AND

In the example above, I wanted to find inventions that had both the words puzzles AND jigsaw in the patent. I selected AND in the drop-down menu.

OR

When you select OR in drop-down menu, you would find inventions with either the words puzzles OR jigsaw in the patent.

ANDNOT

If you select ANDNOT in drop-down menu, you would find inventions with the word "puzzles" in the patent ANDNOT the word "jigsaw" in the patent.
