How do I Register to Practice Trademark Law?

By Mary Bellis, About.com

Question: How do I Register to Practice Trademark Law?
Answer: It is not necessary to register to practice before the Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in trademark law matters. Any attorney admitted in a U.S. state or territory can practice before the trademark side of the PTO. Non-lawyers can practice only in the limited circumstances set forth in Trademark Law Rules - see Rule 10.14(b).
