In Assembly Instructions Part 2 you will be instucted to "Trace the centering pieces from the pattern on to the cardboard and cut them out with scissors or knife. Cut out the hole in the large ring and the “V” slot in the small discs. Clean any ragged cuts off the edges. Also, cut out the retainer disc from the clear plastic."
