Surveillance Humanoid Robot Nuvo

An officer of robot venture company ZMP displayed the surveillance humanoid robot Nuvo during a press conference on a disclosure of Application Program Interface (API) and source code that was held on August 6, 2008 at the robot venture company ZMP Headquarter in Tokyo, Japan. The robot was equipped with surveillance camera on the head and the owner could monitor the footage through a mobile phone. This was the first ever disclosure of API and the source code of their robots.
