Easter Parade Held On Manhattan's 5th Avenue

Easter parade participants take part in the 2011 Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival on April 24, 2011 in New York City. The parade is a New York tradition that started back approximately in the mid-1800s when the social elite would demonstrate their fashionable clothes while walking down Fifth Avenue after attending Easter services and celebrations in one of the Fifth Avenue churches.
