Easter Parade Held On Manhattan's 5th Avenue

An Easter parade participant takes part in the Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival in New York City. The parade is a New York tradition that started back approximately in the mid-1800s when the social elite would demonstrate their fashionable clothes while walking down Fifth Avenue after attending Easter services and celebrations in one of the Fifth Avenue churches.
