Baby Buffer-safety cushion

See More About

Who Are You?

Disabled RN and retired law enforcement officer who was blessed with a baby later in life. We are all about safety and came up with the baby buffer after getting tired of stuffing towels or pillows in her swing etc for stability.

At What Stage of Completion is Your Invention?

We have a US patent for 14 years with drawings and description of materials to be used. This can be made in all sizes with a variety of coverings. Can be used for all age groups as an additional safety measure fastening to the equipment not the person makes this a non restraint just a buffer.

Lessons Learned

  • do not go in debt for a patent through some companies. I've come to learn you can get one for way less than we gave. You are top priority until they get your money then you have trouble getting hold of anyone when you have concerns.

Are You Seeking Funding or Business Partners?

I am looking to outright sell our patent and all rights for either one sum or for royalties. We gave more than we could afford just to get a patent now are tired of struggling. We want to be able to get at least what we've invested.

Who Would Want Your Invention?

Any parent will want this. It can be adjusted as baby grows and works with baby strollers, high chairs, exersaucers, swings and more to provide a safety buffer so baby doesn't go forward and bump his/her head or face.

Describe Your Invention or New Idea

Soft adjustable cushion that velcros onto baby equipment preventing baby from going forward and bumping head or face. Cushion inserts can be added or removed and cover can be vinyl or fabric for easy cleaning. Buffer can range in size and be used in school, daycare, and a nursing home.

Anything Else You Would Like To Say? Contact info?

Cushion velcros to equipment not the person therefore it can be used in school or daycare and medical settings and provide safety without being a restraint.
