Who Are You?
HelloMy name is Barry. I am married and the father of three children. Most of my career fields have been related to carpentry and construction. I have always had an interest in inventing, but have only recently acted on this interest. I have one invention with Patent Pending protection and several more that I am working on.
At What Stage of Completion is Your Invention?
I have a working prototype of my invention. This invention is not in production or on store shelves at this time. The prototype that I handcrafted is made from aluminum sheets. I used pop rivets to put it together. Two strips of good duck tape was attached to the back to represent two magnets. After testing it proved to be 100% effective.Lessons Learned
- If you are a beginning inventor, try and get as much information as possible from other inventors. Learn as much as you can about the USPTO and their patent processes. In some cases you can do your own patent search and other applications. This will save you a lot of money.
