Who Are You?
Currently I am a 16 years old and attend High School in NY. This past Spring I was cut from my high school lacrosse team and switched over to playing golf. Working as a caddy and playing for years, I was very exceptional and saw into the game from the point of view of both a caddy and a player. After caddying for numerous elderly players, I noticed that although the golf cart is a blessing to senior golfers and keeps them in the game, there is no way for players to drive onto the putting greens. My invention fills the gap in golf that has held it back for many years.
At What Stage of Completion is Your Invention?
What was originally a thought while caddying for a group of four elderly men, my "Forearm Crutch Putter" is now patent pending. Having my ideas put to paper took around 15 weeks and is one of the best investments I have ever done. Although I do not have a prototype, my patent filing papers detail how to make and every inch of the invention. I am looking to license or sell my product to a large golf company. My present invention caters to a 7 million person market, but is a market for brand names, something a 16 year old cant produce.
Lessons Learned
- Do not share your ideas with ANYONE until they are patent pending!
- If funding is needed, take in a venture capitalist.
- How do I get to the next level of networking my name and patent?
- How can I contact reputable golf companies?
Who Would Want Your Invention?
Elderly golfers and the handicapped would use my invention to aid in the transportation of themselves from the golf cart to the putting green.
Describe Your Invention or New Idea
