- Take a good, long look at your refrigerater. I mean, think about it!! Without refrigeraters, we wouldn't be abled to enjoy foods like meats, cheeses, dairy products, fruits, and more because they'd rot just sitting on your counter! C'mon, the refrigerater is pretty sweet!

Elevators!
- Without them you wouldn't be able to build anything with more than 4 floors. Otherwise, would you be able to climb the stairs to reach the top of the Empire State Building? Don't think so right? Another point: cities. How do you thing cities would be without elevators and tall buildings? A way larger number of houses, therefore, much more space would be needed in order to put all those people together, would be very hard for the transportation. I really think you should think again which invetion is the best one, and which one provides the most benefits. Elevators are underestimated and easily forgotten. Enough said.

- Before the printing press knowledge took a long time to pass from one person to others by letter. With the printing press one book or pamphlet could reach thousands. Each of those thousands could add or improve on the knowledge and pass that on to thousands... Allowing advances in knowledge to explode. Knowledge was no longer owned or controlled by governments or the rich.
