What Did Thomas Edison and YouTube Have in Common?

By November 25, 2012

Follow me on:

YouTubeMenlo Park is what they both have in common. YouTube - the online video sharing and viewing community was invented by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim out of a garage in Menlo Park, California. Thomas Edison invented many of his best inventions in Menlo Park. However, not in the same garage, Thomas had a factory in Menlo Park, New Jersey. Thomas Edison was even nicknamed the Wizard of Menlo Park. Screenshot of YouTube website

I think you are mistaken. Thomas Edison worked out of Menlo Park, New Jersey. The three YouTube guys are from Menlo Park, California. They are two different cities.

What do Janet Jackson’s breasts and YouTube have in common? They’re both visually stimulating for a while, but ultimately they’re reduced to an uninspiring pile of silicon(e).

Ok guys – if you had read the article the founder of youtube was searching on the internet for a clip of the incident and could not find one – not being able to find such a clip inspired him to create the website youtube

Who cares which Menlo Park is in what part of the country and what significance is there to where Thomas Edison and/or YouTube operated from???…Give us some good info about the two of them so we can create something new related to “inventions” and not “irrelevancies?”

It’s no wonder this country can’t catch our counterparts on the world stage as it relates to Math & Science…Our (so called) “inventors” are spending their time trying to upstage one another over which “Menlo Park” belongs to one of our Greatest Inventors and one of our Greatest Inventions…

Seems like we need to get to work and create the next best infrastructure for the development of the next global revelation and revolution…In other words…

STOP IT…
